Whew!  We made it.  Another year under our belts – and what a year it was! I found it really interesting to go back over and compile this list of PGGs written in 2015 (the others you receive are recycled from past years); I had forgotten about many of them and was wondering who wrote these?!?

It hasn’t been an easy 12 months from microcosm to macrocosm, and these PGG’s reflect the intensity and urgency of where we are as a culture, nation and planet.  I highly encourage you to take some time to read them over the next few days to provide a reflective start to your new year!

As many of you know, this has been a challenging year of immense stress, sadness and transition for me due to my mother’s illness and passing, and everything that entails. At the same time I have experienced great healing, growth and even joy as a result of having gone (and still going) through the process in a vulnerable, healthy way and it’s been so special to connect with people through the meaningful interactions that this brings out in both friends and strangers.  Perhaps you experienced loss too, whether a loved one, job, divorce or other big event; if not you might be acutely attuned to the world’s crisis and loss of life around the globe and found yourself having to adjust to a new version of reality.

But with death always comes birth, so one bright spot for me was certainly my PGG:The Book being released into the world with all the wonderful feedback so many of you offered. I’ve included those PGG’s here as well in case you missed that coming out. (And of course, be sure to grab yourself a copy and tell a friend if you haven’t already done so! )

What about your 2015? This is a great time to take a look at your calendars, journals, datebooks and even social media pages to do your own year in review – it is incredibly gratifying and enlightening to see what you have accomplished, been through and experienced – the good, the bad and the ugly – to see how much you’ve grown, where you are now, and who and where you want to be in the months and years ahead before you pop-open the bubbly!

I also wanted to take a moment to sincerely express my gratitude to everyone here for all of your support of me and what I do – whether you attended a seminar, became a coaching client, or simply read a PGG every now and then – THANK YOU for allowing me to be who I am, and to express myself in all of these ways!  I am so honored by your presence, attention and love and it allows me to keep on keepin’ on even when the going gets tough!

Wishing you the most Productive, Positive and Peaceful New Year you can possibly imagine and then some!  Please know I am always here for you and would be happy to help you realize the best possible version of who you are in 2016 and beyond!

Big hug, Kristina

2015 PGG Links & Excerpts:

 Radiohead

“…why not think about detoxing and tuning-up your mental and emotional diets, adjusting your atmosphere and exercising a more positive attitude towards yourself and others?”

Grey’s Anatomy

“Like the Buddha says of a string on the sitar, if it’s too tight it will break, too loose and you won’t get any sound from it.  Either way the music dies. Life does not exist in black or white, but in fact found in the many shades between.”

The Fog of War

“The most dangerous threat we all faced, and continue to face, is that of ‘divide and conquer’; of thinking we are the lone soldier out in the battlefield and that we have to suffer in silence…. We cannot isolate in our trenches – we must reach out to our platoon – that is what they are there for!”

PGG: The Book!

“…a book of insightful essays (injected with fun and humor) to help guide, inspire, and make sense of life’s daily challenges and milestones alike. If you need a mood booster or helping hand, check it out!”

Tomorrow is Now

“One antidote to this anxiety is remembering that everyone has a gift to offer and when you both discover and use that gift in the present, it is much easier to trust what may come tomorrow.”

Green Means Go

“Think about how the trees and plants are always there, evolving, growing, moving towards life, no matter what they’re handed or how much they suffer – they remain steadfast in supporting and healing us. By giving thanks perhaps we can counteract some of the abuse we has humans have doled out!”

Peace Out

“It is not easy to watch someone die, let alone someone you love, and someone who was such a force of nature.”

Things that make you go hmmmm....

“….131 essays about self-care, career direction, transition, stress, feeling lost, going with the flow and more. They’re ideas, observations, and unique perspectives to make you think about yourself and your life in a new way, motivate you to make positive change, help ease those challenging times and perhaps have a chuckle or two.”

The Right Stuff

“The more we can start looking at our own lives with the ‘overview effect’, the more we can plan for our highest and best exit when the inevitable day arrives.”

Hide and Seek

“Remember what themes spoke to you last week, what you and everyone around you innately responded to and was stimulated and stirred within: kindness, inclusion, healing, empathy.”

What Lies Beneath

“Be generous in spirit, in time, money, health, love, compassion, presence and kindness. Let generosity, not greed, be your underlying force – and when looking at others’ actions try to understand theirs – it will give you much more information than appears and help you separate the wheat from the chaff.”
